Just to fill all of you in on a little info.
The GMs have been out to con EVERYONE of us.
The R4 item giveaway was all a cold, calculated move to earn more profits for gala.net. How so? Let me explain.
There have been multiple posts quoting the gamefaqs site on a topic regarding levelling past level 50. The said article seems to have been removed from the site, also probably by gala.net's request.
Here's the deal: the article on gamefaqs was bloody true, every single goddamn bit of it.
The gist of the article was - Levelling past level 50 = less HP and MP when you job change.
My ex-guild leader has experimented with this theory. Here's what he did : -
Turns out, he had more HP/MP than he started off with.
The posts on the official forums had people asking questions about this. And strangely a forum moderator who've I've never seen before, replied to the thread saying that HP/MP is auto adjusted upon job change. Based on the above experiment, this is not true.
Moreover, the threads regarding the topics were all promptly deleted. Not locked as mods usually do, but deleted via admin (READ: GM) forum powers.
NEVER trust a thing posted on the forums by GMs. I've realised this since the days of "Drops are totally random" (they are not, there are compiled item drop tables on Japanese and Korean webpages).
Also, this is a notice to NOT change job before delevelling to level 50, unless you can handle less HP/MP *permanently*.

My ex-guild leader has experimented with this theory. Here's what he did : -
- Created a new Stepper char.
- Levelled to 10/10 changed to DM.
- Delevelled to 5/10.
- Relevelled to 10/10.
Turns out, he had more HP/MP than he started off with.
